PRODUCER LAB - Behind The Curtain
PRODUCER LAB - Behind The Curtain
Join us for the first in the series of Producer Labs; a dynamic Producing Workshop designed for emerging and indie theatre-makers!
Theatre makers Blown Fuse and Producer Roxanne Carney will share their experiences that have shaped their careers, how they eventually met and made incredible art that reflects real social change.
Then, we’ll explore a real-world collaboration case study with their unforgettable project, “In Her Shoes”. You'll get insights you can apply directly to your own projects finding out when and why a producer was needed for the company, what happened, what happened as a result of collaborating, the big wins and what are the absolute no no’s that they’ll never revisit again. Followed by a short Q&A.
Now, it’s time to turn the spotlight onto you. We’ll lead exercises to help you understand self-promotion. Who you are, what are your strengths and weaknesses, what you’re eager to learn, collaborate on - you never know, there might be someone in the room who matches your skillset…
Come ready to engage, reflect, and connect!
