We want naturalistic text to feel believable, but does it need to look natural too? Why can’t a character’s impulses lead them onto the kitchen table, or flat on the floor?
In this workshop, we’ll work as an ensemble to explore bold physical choices and discover how movement can unlock the rhythm of text. Through play, improvisation, and experimentation, we’ll open up new possibilities for surprising, dynamic theatrical moments.
Come ready to move, take risks, and rethink what ‘natural’ can mean on stage.
*You should wear clothes and shoes you can move easily in.
